AID WORKERS DECIDE TO PULL OUT OF GOMA The UN High Commissioner for Refugees has decided to evacuate all its international staff from the Zairean city of Goma as fighting intensifies. The city has been rocked by escalating artillery shelling in a battle between soldiers & ethnic Tutsi rebels. Earlier the UN said it was unclear who had control of the city's airport the centre for efforts to aid refugees. Meanwhile Zaire has rejected calls for talks to end the fighting.
